About Dr. Alexander Nowicki
Dr. Nowicki is a native of Brentwood, TN who graduated from Ravenwood High School. After obtaining his medical degree from Washington University of Health and Sciences, he completed a year of general surgery residency at Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He then went on to complete his residency in anesthesiology at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. After completing his first specialization in anesthesiology he went on to complete his fellowship/subspecialization in interventional pain management at Emory University in Atlanta, GA - one of the country's top programs. Eager to get back to his roots and his family he opened his private practice, Cool Springs Pain and Wellness, here at home in Franklin, TN.
Throughout his career, Dr. Nowicki has been highly active in medical research having authored over 20 scholarly articles, abstracts, and medical book chapters, and has presented his work at numerous national and international medical conferences. He has served on many academic commitees while in medical school, residency, and fellowship and continues to actively participate in many local, national, and international medical societies.
On a personal note, Dr. Nowicki enjoys playing guitar, tennis, rock climbing, sailing, watersports, skiing, and playing with his two nieces.
